Or does the numbering stop at like 100 for each of the new items?

The weapons from the latest update are being numbered according to the order they are being crafted in.

For example, if you were the 20th person to craft the The Persian Persuader after it was introduced, your item would say

The Persian Persuader #20

rather than:

The Persian Persuader

No. You got level <randomnumber> weapons/hats and you got numbered SPECIAL items (like solly medals) but that's it.

agh, Valve disabled the loadout.

The second item in that guy's backpack says "Splendid Screen #17"

And the #17 part is actually part of the name.

As for the level, it says Level 10, which seems pretty normal.

I know these new items aren't limited, but the numbering might be limited, and might only go up to #100.
