while theyre at an concert theyll enjoy very much for an artist that is pretty famous youll be at home trying to make music that will never be as popular as his

Actually, he created a new subgenre in Dubstep. He didn't define it, but the interviewee did. Read about it in an article he was interviewed in. couldn't find it again so you'd probably have to do some research.

I dont think so, dubstep is very specific, it could be defined differently by style 'brostep' herpderp shit but i doubt he created a fucking subgenre out of it. songs can be more than one genre, and mixing them together doesn't make it an entirely new one

All of his songs tend to sound the same. I think its a VERY different genre than what Skream/Rusko/Caspa/Benga helped create.

sound surprisingly isn't everything when it comes to music. just because his songs can sound completely different from what the genre started as, doesn't mean its a different genre
if we wanted to go hardcore to prove ourselves right we'd make a check list of what is dubstep and if skrillex applies to it.
