I too recently tried to look for a way to work online with few hours and little effort, because I'm a sophomore in college =P.
I discovered the amount of money you get is almost directly correlated to the amount of effort, physical or mental, you put into a task. That being said, there is no magical way to make money, even online. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Don't waste your time looking for online work and pick up a real job. Open your own summer painting business, or work at an ice cream shop.
There are lots of job opportunities if you abandon the mentality that you are too good for such menial work. Because you aren't, and wont be until you have that stupid piece of paper.

Well said. Very well said.
Some people do make a killing selling things on ebay, though. But like you said, it does take a lot of work (and money), especially to get started.
