In Civilization V, I'm trying to connect a city to my trade routes but I have no clue on how to do it.
Here's the problem:
-Capital and all other cities are on islands and by the coast.
-One of my cities which has a lot of good luxury resources is on island, but not on coast nor on the same island as another city.
How can I connect the city with the resources to my trade routes? I can't build a harbor because there's no coastal tiles next to the city. And I can't build roads because there's no other city on this small island.

civ5 is so pathetically stripped down that it doesn't care if your resources are connected, just adds a small bonus for a few turns
anyhow, airports have been stripped so no trades by air, so the only option is to wait till you can build nuclear bombs, and then send 2 to 3 nukes to that town so it's completly obliterated (make sure it's not a city state or enemy capital, they won't get destroyed)
Then you can build a new city on the coast and build a harbor

That's a good idea >_>
This was the only town in my empire that had oil, ivory, and marble in the same area :/
I tried to build it in the center of everything since the resources were so far away from one another, but it's nothing an artist or two won't fix.
