One thing I noticed that's been annoying me is the progress bar on the url bar. It's just distracting and useless. Just because Safari has the same thing doesn't mean Firefox has to have it also. Has anyone found and addon to get rid of it? (Ha, ADD on to get RID of it)

Nothings actually new in the latest browsers, just a few feature implementation, like for FireFox, it has a new javascript engine, something like that.

Look for the status-4-evar add-on for firefox. It adds the original statusbar back

I have yet to upgrade to the new version of firefox as I am still waiting for it to support Norton Internet Security. I just can't risk browsing without protection, not that I am visiting sites that are potentially harmful but it would not hurt to stay safe. I heard that it is a lot faster and I cant wait to experience that as well.

FF never "supported" any AV programs... Especially not Norton, since it's a proven POS in detection rate and memory usage.

Or are you simply referring to toolbars? Either way, you are not doing yourself any good.

How does everyone like the new FF?

I like it fine, will take a little getting used to, but Antloader works on it so I'm good ;)

The abbreviation for Firefox is Fx or fx not FF as only the second letter should not be capitalized. This information is taken directly from Mozilla's website under the FAQ (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/releases/1.0.6.html).

In the words of my chemistry teacher, learn something new everyday :)
