|
|
I installed CE.
I configure: Use kernelmode debugger, Use global debug routines.
I reboot, tap F8 and disable driver signing enforcement.
I run CE using the x64 shortcut and I click yes to elevated permissions.
I run Two Worlds 2, load a save.
I search in CE, got the value, right click, Find out what accesses this address, I click yes to the debugger and then bam, BSOD.
BSOD says: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
Any clue what might be wrong?
Thank you.
Also, CE 5.x did not require attaching a debugger when one selected "Find out what accesses this address". Why is it required now?

global debug will not work in windows 64-bit, seems it's a bug that you managed to enable it
also, for kernelmode debug to work you must be in dbvm mode (launched using the about screen or a bootable cd/usb) and vista 64 (windows 7 doesn't like the way I do the pausing inside kernelmode)
You could try the veh debug method though (use 6.1 alpha for more recent games)
and 5.5 also attached a debugger, but it just didn't tell you

Thanks for the reply. So, no kernelmode debugging in 7 yet.
Where can I get 6.1 alpha? (I just installed 7, very far from building it on my own).
Thank you.

Thank you!
BTW: the LUA scripting looks very promising!
Which LUA version is it?
Any documentation?
