Yeah when did Rattman ever come up in the game?
I've never heard his name in game, or found a cave with his stuff or anything.
I also beat the game without getting the whiteout achievement OR using suction tunnels.
I feel like I missed something.

valve employee here. chell is cave johnsons child. he didnt want her and rattman adopted her.

in portal 3 you play as chell but because at the end of portal 2 you get covered in the gel you have to go back into old aperture to get a cure for the moon rock poisoning, except this time, glados wants you out.

I thought Caroline == GLaDOS?

At one point, Johnson's pre-recorded messages are rolling, and as GLaDOS is a potato, she, along with Caroline, says 'Yes sir, Mr. Johnson' at the same time, then says something about memories. Later, Johnson says if he ever dies he wants Caroline (if possible) to be made into a computer (something similar; not exactly) and to control the whole facility... which is GLaDOS.
