I don't know what the hype is about. I doubt anyone here ever used a commodore or even knew what it was other than in passing.

ITT: Only slugsnack MIGHT have the age to have used a commodore. It's sad to see people get hyped up about things because others do, without ever bothering to actually wonder what the hype is about. The people who get hyped about it usually are the older generation who still remember mainframes and how the commodore 'revolutionized' 'portable' computing for general masses. Pretty much, they made it so people who didn't have 10 million dollars to buy a mainframe or pay for terminal time could still have fun at home.
