Listen to his god damn story, you can tell he either completely made it up, or it was a dream.
I personally think it was a mixture of the two. He had a dream he went to heaven, and then embellished the story ridiculously.

Depends on if you believe in his story, but it may be plausible. There was a story I've saw on TV about this man who was always unkind to those around him. One day as he in a operating and also into near death, he felt a sense of being weightless. Then he notice he was floating and saw himself lying there on the operating table with the doctors performing the surgery. A few minutes later he saw a few black figures coming in, tried to drag him away and beat the living crap out of him. Then a white figure came, help him off the ground, cleaned up and all of a sudden he felt this push as if being pushed off a cliff and jolted back to life as the surgery was a complete success. From that point on he change on he acts in life and even became a priest.
