I went on random match for the first time on pokemon black, and I sent out aerodactyle, and he sent the snake thing. He switched giving me free stealth rock. Then he tried to 1hko me but I was saved by focus sash. Then I 1hko'd him with earthquake. He d/c'd as soon as I killed his first pokemon.

You should use Surf aswell.
