Hey guys! recently I've been trying to hack the damage in dragon age 2 by editing regular damage(which didn't work),trying to edit the monsters hp but finally I have found a method which does work. But the only problem is, that the pointer is fake( I think, im a n00b gamehacker so bare with me). First of all the address I found is a modifier, I think this is how the game calculates its damage. I used a warrior to do this and a no cooldown cheat to stack the damage modifiers and find the address. Alright so we are good up to here, so next I try to find the pointer and I do, I set offset and everything but the next time I start the game it doesn't seem to work.

Anyone know a way to get around this?

Maybe you can use the script for no cooldown to calculate the damage modifier if they are in the same structure.
Check the address of the cooldown and the address of the modifier. If they are very close to each other, just modify the cooldown script to increase the damage modifier too or something like that. Depending on how much skill do you have with making a new script or modifying an existing one.
