Can you connect the 8pin motherboard power to a 8 pin PCI E connector?

No as far as i know

all power supplies come with a 4 pin cpu connector you can run yours off that

i duno what the difference is if you have even more than 1 4 pin connector i guess more power to the motherboard

there is addapters but yea ild get a new power supply with a 8 pin cpu connector
