You're using those new redstone delay things. Hardly the same as using standard redstone to do it.

Make a 10-button, 5-combination button lock and I'll accept that you understand redstone.

No cheating with guides either.

bleh I already made a multi button multi layer triggered death chamber.
the circuit is in a separate room of 8x12x5. uses stone plates in the floor to trigger 5 layers of dispensers that shoot arrows through a wall of lava.
doors with a one way system, you can go in but cant go out. (( and it is with the bugged double door which is fixed with a negative circuit on the other side ))

Double door isn't bugged...

are you joking?

L2door logic.

When you place a door, it doesn't necessarily open/close, it simply switches the block that it's facing. When you make double doors, the game automatically corrects and pretends that you placed the second door facing a different way.

I don't know how to explain it in words, just try fooling around with doors and you'll see what I mean.

its bugged.
it uses a boolean operation and it just turns when it detects an adjacent door to make a double door.
door on the left opens with positive, door on the right opens with negative. when both should open with the same current. :/
its bugged. easily fixed with a torch.

If theres one thing that MineCraft did right, it that it moved digital logic into the public view with the redstone circuits.

Once again, that's not a bug.

Think about it, there's only one kind of door.


The door on the right is the normal orientation. If you would normally place two doors right next to each other, they'd both open up to the right, then leaving the second door open, but still in the middle of what you want to be your doorway. Instead, the game corrects for this by flipping the door to have been placed with a different orientation (rotated 90 degrees clockwise). Then of course you have to invert the signal traveling to it because you're doing the opposite operation on it than you're doing on the other door. Take a look at the picture again. The door on the left is already open. If you remove power to it, it closes, which then opens up the doorway.

It's not a bug, it's a game mechanism.

oh, I see what elpacco is saying now
it fixes the door so you can have 2 doors next to each other acting like a double door rather than 2 doors literally placed next to each other in the same orientation
