According to the article, there will be no more games in the Guitar Hero series due to declines in the music video game genre. I'm all for the music genre declining because for the most part I hate music games, however, Guitar Hero has been one of the only music games I really enjoyed.

Yeah I never bought anything after Guitar Hero 3. The drums might have been cool but it was way too expensive. And even Guitar Hero 3 wasn't a very long game and had very little replay value. The only good thing about it is if you had a friend that played it too so you could compete against each other, and even that was pretty flawed.

And yeah Call of Duty has really been milked. All they do is improve the graphics but it's gets old quick when it's a game about nothing but killing dudes over and over again.

I'm pretty sure the only reason they kept making games instead of just putting songs online to buy is so they would get more money...assholes.

Guitar Hero 1 and 2 were extremely good and then Activision shet on the series. Same outline for Cod; Cod 4 and 2 were innovative, but mw2 and black ops are repetitive and boring. However cod waw's and black op's zombie system is/was pretty new and inspiring.
