I need someone to show me a guide on how to purchase hosting and how to set up a Minecraft server with the purchased hosting.

This will be a dedicated server and will be private. It will have a whitelist, will be SMP, and you guys will vote on what you want added in (mods?).

I will make the person who helps me set this up a mod automatically!

Hopefully we can have one running after my visa thing is unblocked (ALMOST LIKE A FEW MORE HOURS) and I any CEF'er is allowed in! Whitelist is anyone OUTSIDE CEF!

Hopefully someone can send me a guide.

Thank you.

oh my god.

hosting a server is easy

Lolwut, that's terrible advice...

Unless you have a spare computer, hosting on your home PC isn't the best idea... you wouldn't be able to do anything without lowering the performance of the server, unless you have a shitton of RAM. And it would be necessary to have some sort of backup power, in case you have a power-outage. Not to mention ISP limitations.

lets face it, youll never get more then 3 people. host it on your home PC
