Are you seriously dumb? The problem is someone cracked his password and is using his network for their Xbox. If he changes his password, they don't have access to his internet anymore. Hurrrr durrr.

I'm just saying it would be fuckhard to impose that. You need no ID when signing up for internet. They could block the specific line, but if you move house...what about the satellite internet?

Even if you didn't need ID, you still need to give them a name, address, phone number, etc. How else would they bill you? Also, you aren't going to get them any jailtime. At most, they would get fined. Jail is for repeated offenders of misdemeanor crimes, or those who can't afford bail. Prison is for serious/repeated offenders of felony crimes. There's no room in either system for people who steal internet...

ISP's have blacklists, with certain adresses, and personal information. If the government wants you banned, they can add you to all of those in under an 2 hours; and when you signup for Internet, you do actually need ID to signup for Internet. And if they moved, I doubt they would buy a house close to your house just to crack your internet. Satellite is provided by an ISP, and can be banned exactly the same as any other form of internet.[/quote]

You are such a fucking retard...I said you could move house to get internet because your address/phone line isn't blacklisted. If you are cracking someones net you don't need to move house. You can stay exactly where you are, buy a wireless card off eBay/at a computer fair etc. and continue cracking...
