I have a AMD Athlon II X2 250 running 3GHz i want to OC it to the maximum it can do
I have googled it but they just keep talking BUT they wont tell me how to

Maximum it can go is dependent upon whatever cooling system you're using. If you're on a stock cooler, you're not going to get far.

You'll have to go to your bios or use CPU-Z. Don't overclock it passed 3.3GHz~3.4GHz because AMD processors aren't build very well..

I think im using stock cooler
It only floats like 25~35C?
How do you use CPU-Z to overclock?

We have decent pcs with good bios for overclocking. And sufficient cooling.

A friend of mine unlocked his Phenom II 555 to quadcore then overclocked it from 3.2 to 4.0 and its idling around 25c.

he must have a decent cooler. My Phenom Idles around 40c on stock. Awaiting my Hyper 212+

If you have a stock Motherboard (Dell, HP, whatever) the bios for it are probably not going to allow overclocking.
