https://store.archos.com/archos-vision-p-108.html - Other than phones, I've never had a music player like an ipod, and I've always wanted one. This is only $40, much smaller than an ipod nano, and holds twice as much, plus it plays lossless audio ape/flac.

https://store.archos.com/archos-tablet-p-96.html - Half the price of a laptop and does everything I'd ever need on the go, if I want power I have my desktop.

imo get a cheap player but make sure it has a sd/microsd slot so whenever you want to expand on space you can

Just put in a 32GB Mini SD and put all the musix you want. Oh and the Voice Recorder on this thing is AMAZING. I mean you can put it in a 20x20 room and hear everything. Battery life is really good also, I haven't charged it since I got it and that was the 30th xD
