Upgrade processor to decent Quad Core.
Upgrade memory to 4gig.

Upgrade CPU and GPU. 2.8gig memory is more than enough.
Upgrading HDD is viable always.

No, just no.
Upgrade processor to a core 2 quad q8300. So long as you have a 775 board, it's probably your best bet if you don't want a whole new computer.
