So i dont completely understand on how to hack a flash game on the firefox browser--partly because im new, and partly because i just dont understand all the multiplying and adding you have to do to the value in the game.
How exactly do you know what to multiply or add to the value in the game to type in the search box? I recently played the game "enchanted cave" where i had struggle to hack the value...and found out you had to take the ingame value, multiply it by 8, then add 6. In all cases of my reading of tutorials, i have no come across a game where you have to do additional adding. So, any tips on hacking values? Does it differ if im using adobe flash player 10? Because some games i cant hack the value at all even though its actually still a internet browser flash game.
Basically, what im going for is hacking the value. It's what that's keeping me stuck atm, so....
tips/help/hints please on just finding the specific value to change.

Try out the Tutorial program that is in the same folder as Cheat Engine. It will teach You how to scan for values. If You need, check out the site that I have linked and You will wind a bunch of badly written info on how to use CE and some videos about "how to use CE".

Unknown initial value is not just useful when You don't see the actual value in the game. It is also useful if You don't know how it is stored.
For example lets say that they developers decided that they multiply the values with 10 in the memory. If You try exact value scan, You will probably not find it, or at least it will take some time. However You will find it easily with unknown value search because even if the value is multiplied, it will change the same way as if it wasn't multiplied. So when You spend money, it is decreasing and when You get some money, it is increasing.
In summary, when You see a value on the screen, that doesn't always mean it is simply stored in the memory the same way. In fact, in most cases, they are stored in some kind of twisted logic or with an "encryption" to make it harder to find them. It is purely up to the developer how to store the values.
