I get a "Range Check" error when I resize the window to hide the bottom part (memory view), but CE 6 freezes and have to terminate it.

Yes, happens with CE 6 Beta 2.

Problem now is that every time I want to use the disassembler I get the error and the freezing.

Is there another way to reset the window size?

Funny thing is terminating CE while working with my browser doesn't take down the browser as it does with a game.

Yes, there is a way that I have found.

Right-click on a code in the code list (if You have a table with some codes in there) and choose the "Open the disassembler at this location" option.
Then the default size Memory view window will pop up. It may also help if You turn off the "Save window positions" option before You do this.
