is there an alternative method of "Find out what writes to this address" tool in cheat engine? i need to use this feature but the game that i am hacking is packed with themida so it wont work

If you're on windows xp try kernelmode with global debug (perhaps combined with dbvm)

If not or that also fails, then you're out of luck


If debug registers are out of the question then you could try making the memory unwritable and capture page fault exceptions
Perhaps you or someone could write a plugin for ce that does something similar or a really extensive auto assembler script that handles everything...
