Tommy, it's your fault I shot you, if you had taken the proper precautions, then I wouldn't have been able to. Thus, when I get to court, its not murder, its suicide (In which case I wouldn't even really need to go to court).
Thank you, that's a much better analogy.

It's also flawed.
It's not your fault that I killed you, it's your fault that you couldn't protect yourself.
It's not the army's fault that their info got leaked, but it's their fault that it was possible.

Actually, Tommys logic was that it was the Army's fault that information got leaked, as it would not have happened if they took proper measures with the sensitive information. So, really, while your analogy stands, it doesn't properly represent the idea as in this case it assumes no direct implication for the act.

It's not the Army's fault that someone wanted to or decided to steal the intel.
It's their fault that they succeeded.

That it was my fault I couldn't adequately protect myself wasn't being contested. However, how do you know I didn't already have precautions in place? How do you know that it wasn't something I could not have prevented? Anyway, what was being contested was whose fault it was that I was shot, in which case it would not be mine.

Also, briefly describe how exactly they could have made it impossible to access such information. Clearly you don't think they did a good enough job, what would you do that the entire government wasn't able to think of?

Can we get back on topic? I'm a bit skeptical if this new information is all true, it seems that a lot of big news networks are talking about it and since when did news networks talk about anything important? If this sensitive information is all true, it will cause much political hardship for America for years

Did the news that China wants N+S Korea to join come out through that?

I have seen some video about it on YouTube somewhere (my friends showed me). The funny thing is, that a guy who has leeked information said for the riporter that He was stealing the info page by page every day. It is a bit hard to believe that He has done it with thousands of pages, but who I am to say otherwise. Probably He has hidden it in a bunch of other papers. Who cares to check all of His papers when He is leaving the building, especially if He is a high ranking officer.

And some general (forgot His name but He was some big guy in the military) said that this information leak caused many troubles, revealed secret service working methods etc etc. So I guess there are more possibilities. For example:

1. They are leaking false info and they are backing up as valid info by making a huge fuss about it so everyone know that "someone stole the Precious".

2. Some guys have stolen valid info and they will be executed on sight. I think this would have happened by now btw. Stealing info from the Pentagon result in court martial? I think it would rather be like "You walk on the street, black van stops next to You, black van leaves... with You of course".

3. Think about any crazy paranoid thing. I bet there are tons of guys who are hired just to think about how could they confuse things even more for the enemy. So nothing is as it seems, I am sure about that.

He urged to bomb Iran, not Israel.

In every security system, firewall, ect their is always to exploit the system. You can fool camera's with infra-red led's disable them with spray paint and walk into the place with a silenced auto-loader. Also, people who are working for the company may be working with the robbers. So the bank owner isn't responsible for a mistake the security company made.
