We haven't seem any footage of DoTa 2 or heard really anything about it. You couldn't make an educated decision right now about it.

Yup. I miss my good ol Phantom Lancer(and others, obviously). Main reason I quit DotA was because of lack of host(Marko)...

The only thing I disliked about DotA was the shops, I much prefer the LoL ones.

The shops actually added some extra strategy to the game. Warding the secret shop and ganking those that go to it was a pretty decent strategy, as well as using the side shops in the middle of the lanes to stay in lane for extended periods of time. Though, since I've played wc3/DotA for a very long time, I grew use to the shops which is why I didn't have any problems with them.

I played it a while back so I was pretty noob. Now I think I would be ok with them it's just going to be a bugger remembering all the recipes.

The thing i dislieked about dota was how quick ppl rage quit. It seemed as if the game was determined in 5 mins by first blood.
