Well i have black ops. The graphics look alot like Cod4, and so is the gameplay.. Running it on almost maxed settings with 1920x1080. For some reason it spikes when i max it out.. Iv heard it was a problem that treyarchs fixing atm.

I've had no problems running MW2 at 1280x1024 res at medium settings.

Now I'm running BO at 1028x768 res at lowest settings and I'm getting unplayable framerates. =\

I'm running on a Pentium D 805, 2GB DDR2 RAM, GeForce 9600 GSO. Is it their game's problem or do you guys think that my rig isn't good enough?

They're in the process of fixing the game so it runs properly (apparently). When they iron out all of the crazy performance quirks you probably won't be able to max it out, but you'll definitely get much better performance than you're getting now (assuming what's been said in this thread are pretty good estimates).

Single player- 60fps all around, for love of god, 2560x1400 looks like complete shit. Still looks like shit at 1920x1200 too.

Multiplayer- MOTHERUFKCING FPS DIP DIP DIP DIP FOR FIRST TWO MINUTE OF THE GAME.
Also, no party.
I love my PC gaming.

In Black Ops if you shoot a corpse then the blood shows. So if you shotgun a corpse in the head, it looks as if their brains are blown out.

Not really, WaW was a different experience, though still not as good.
MW2 and later are the same games, though I'm still going to get them as I enjoy the gameplay and each new game refreshes it a little.

You really need a good pc for this game, I got a q6600 cpu and a hd4850, and I can play it on high-extra on 1920-1080 with about 30-40 fps. It looks pretty good. Online is fun, wager matches are AWESOME, havent played singleplayer/zombie mode yet.

It's great aside from bugs. It's like mw2 except balanced and the weapons are more realistic.

Still room for improvement though, and weapon balancing (sniper = chest or head 1shot kill most of the time, assault-rifle is 2 shots to the head untill somebody is dead).
The constant changing of spawning points in TDM also doesn't help, spawned in the middle of enemys 3 times already (yes, in their base, because the spawn points were switching).
Overal I'd say its fun, but wait a while till some hardcore players moved on and untill the price is lower.
