| I saw that a couple years ago. That is the most outrageous thing ever, they can't fine her for EVERYONE's piracy. They're fining her 62,500 bucks a song, and my friend has downloaded about 1200 songs. Good luck getting him to pay 75 billion dollars.

The company has the right to sue her. She's obviously seen that the fine would be high, yet when it got to a reasonable amount for having committed a theft, this dumb bitch got hard headed and said she only wanted to pay 1 dollar per song.

This is America. In civilized countries you can't get sued like that for downloading 24 songs. You'd most likely get to pay a small fine and recieve a warning. Then if you don't follow up on that you just recieve a nice cup of jail. Don't believe anyone ever got sued like that here in Denmark.
