srs, what's with all the 3D movies all of a sudden. I think 3D just ruins the entire movie. 3D was cool 10 years ago, I don't get why all these tech companies think it's some huge money maker.

3d movies give me a crazy ripping headache. Those glasses make your eyes go totally whack, I can't deal with it.

Profit of said 3d movie: 100+ million

It makes them money, so why not do it? It's the reason why they do it, and the reason it's not going to get any better. If you could make the same exact movie but put in 3d effects and make a shit-ton, why wouldn't you?

Also by making them 3D the theory is that people will want to see it in 3D, and will be less likely to download it instead of trudging to the theater. Newsflash Hollywood, how about making something people would be willing to pay money on instead of something that's hyped up garbage.

Resident Evil: Afterlife was good in 3D. It gave it depth which I loved. It should only be used for movies LIKE this though, using this technology for something like Despicable Me is fucking retarded.

3D is what makes a medicore film into a box office hit, an excellent example: Avatar. I hate when they go over board with the 3D, i think they should only use it slightly to enhance the viewing experience not to give me a headache

Some movies goes a little over the edge like "HEY, Look at this thing flying towards you in slow-mo!".

AND i already use glasses, so it looks rather retarded with the other glasses over.
