I use Cheat Engine in my other PC with Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32 bits).
Recently, I bought a notebook PC with Windows 7 (64 bits).
So, I downloaded Cheat Engine 5.6.1 and, when I was trying to change the settings, it said that I had to reboot and allow unsigned drivers. I did that and nothing changed. Cheat Engine still says to reboot in a label on the settings. What did I did wrong?
Ah, and what is DBVM?
Edit:
I tried to launch, in order, kernelmoduleunloader.exe and systemcallretriever.exe. The first one said that the driver was unloaded from the registry. The second one gave me 4 zeros in the first 4 boxes and 3 numbers in the last 3 boxes. I pressed OK and Windows asked for a digital sign for dbk64.sys (dunno why. I disabled it...). |

that message doesn't change even if you did boot up with unsigned driver support. It's just there to tell you that each time you want to make use of the functions in settings->extra you need to do that
systemcallretirever is useless in win64 so don't bother with that
as for dbk64.sys, that is the core driver of all the functions in settings->extra, that is the reason why you need to boot up with unsigned driver support.
If you want to use those functions, you must allow it _________________

| Oh, i didn't know that systemcallretriever is useless in win64. And when I said "I disabled it" i was trying to say I disabled Driver Signature Enforcement. So now everything is perfectly working. Thanks. |
