Cheat Engine

Well i found the values for my characters life and changed it with ease using cheat engine.
Then i opened up the memory editor and seen the address of where the value would be located "02DB491E".

So i decided to try and find that address using my hex editor and opened up my games .exe file but it does not list it, instead the range of the address goes from 0x00000 to oxffff0.

All i want to do is find the value in the hex editor and change it so the game will always be altered without having to use a trainer or have cheat engine running, but i cant find the value unless I'm using cheat engine but that's not helpful because i can't find the address to where that value is in the hex editor.

Please can anyone give a noob a hand here .

You can't find changing values in Your exe file. You can search for codes and change them permanently, but that is all.

Changing values no, but usually when I have something in a debugger and I want to change a section of the code instead of searching for the address, which will not be the same, you search for the bytes before your code, your code, and the next line of code. If you are wanting to modify the binary that will get you what you want.
