Save for Car? Invest
If i had that much AT the moment though, i would of bought myself a 360 lol, and use the rest for saving as i have accomplished my goal 
DO you have any major goals? Because its somewhat easy to turn that 1k into more.

360's are for losers, don't wanna crush your dream but it's true.
I have a PS3.
I have a car.
Already enrolled and paid off for University.
Any other suggestions?

Once you have money, you either go down, stay steady, or go up.
You most likely want to use this money if a productive or fun way right?
If Yugioh is popular in your area, invest in a good deck and play with some of the people there. Well thats me again, haha
Im not really sure what else, i wouldnt trust stock markets, but i would keep a look out for deals at your local thrift store, so you can make more money, haha :0
