It runs down your spine but as far as I know you can break your spine without getting paralyzed. |
It's SPINAL COLUMN  , even so, still part of the skeletal system.

My buddy broke his femur after a block of ice slide off the school roof and landed on it, He sued them big. $$$

Some kid fell out a tree in highschool, fractured his arm and sued the school (Successfully)for not having a sign saying that it's dangerous to climb trees. Stupid court was stupid.

I heard an urban legend about a hobo who sued some place because there he saw a dead fly and got traumatized by it. He won the lawsuit and they had to pay him millions.

Friend of me broke it once, by turning around. Now three years later she still has to go to the doctor every once in a while for it.
