hi, just wanna ask around, did anyone successfully hacked left 4 dead 2? if anyone managed to do that or think that he can do that, please post in this thread..

I have posted an Unlimited Ammo and Health cheat. It was pretty easy. But it is crashing a lot when You are using debugger and stuff like that. Not the coolest game ever, so I didn't bother with more advanced cheats.

But I have done single player cheats only. I don't care about multi.

yar i tried to hack the multiplayer... i tried finding what writes to the bullet amount code, and i wrote a script to freeze the value... it worked, i see the ammo at the value i want, but it seems that the ammo still continues to reduce even though i freezed it... hahas so it's of no use... i guess there's a code that still writes from the host player to my ammo value...

EDIT: ok let me try the default built in code... geri, do you know how to make the sv_cheats be 1 using cheat engine even though you are not the host? i found on the net that there's some bypass for games like cs and l4d to bypass the sv_cheats value...

careful in multiplayer, VAC is silent and throws no warning of detection until you're fucked some time later. some servers will also just immediately kick you for trying to play with cvars you shouldn't be.

just set sv_cheats to something silly like 12389 then search that, etc.

you will never get any health / ammo cheat working online outside of being the host yourself, it's impossible.
