Hello,

can someone give me some help with this?

When i scan for say MP, i find the address, it's a dynamic, say 2BE52110.

so i check what access or write and both has mov [edi],al with edi showing 2BE52110.

I scan for 2BE52110 and i get 0008C464.

added this as a pointer, and it correctly points to 2BE52110 and show the MP value properly.

now i exit the debugger, it was still up. suddenly that pointer become 00000000.

now i do HP, the address is diff, but everything else is the same. it still goes to 0008C464, and now that the debugger is on, 8C464, points to HP value but just a minute ago, it was the MP value

so somehow, they have the value + pointer of the HP or MP, push it into 0008C464, then store the value thru that pointer, and release it when done...i dont know how to go farther then 0008C464 to find.

when i search for 0008C464, nothing come up, with or without the debugger up.

when i do what write/access 0008C464, i get nothing and the value in 0008C464 is 0008C464.

when i get pointer scan for 0008C464 lead hundred of address and because it's using it as a temp pointer, i dont know how to go farther.

doing pointer scan on 2BE52110, log off, log back in, nothing has the new address.

what am i doing wrong and how best do i proceed?

on another note, say there is enemy around me, i can track down to 15 address relating to a target, how do i determine what each address is, which one is it's id, health? more importantly, there is 10 so it must be in some sort of array/collection? how would i go about locating the beginning of the collection, and how much data is each item in the collection? sorry for asking too much..just sorta figure out how all this works and it's awesome.
