it is an equivalent of the HD 5770 a little faster and cheaper.

No. GTS 450 is not faster than HD 5770, but it is slightly faster than the HD 5750. The overclocked version of the card (e.g Asus TOP version, Gainwards GLH version) however is about as fast as a HD 5770 at stock clock... but you should not compare overclocked card against not overclocked cards.

what I saw was the benchmark of the asus DirectCU Top 450(overclocked) with the MSi HD 5770 Hawk (also overclocked)

there are many many benchmark pages there are as many ups as downs.

I know tomshardware.com and it is somewhat trustworthy. about guru3 idk
