Hello, recently I've noticed my desktop is louder than usual. Like so much that you can notice it and it gets annoying. It's also been very slow over the past couple days. Not XP slow. Just slower than usual. Apps like Firefox takes 1-2 or more seconds to open than usual. Could it be dust? Overheating? Idk please help me. As for junk and temp files, I have Firefox to delete the cache, cookies, and browsing history when I close. I also do disk clean up and advanced system care almost everyday. My desktop is really loud, it's annoying. Anybody got an idea why it's doing this? Oh, and I tried analyzing for fragmented files, none found. My CPU usage is normal, and I don't see my ram being squeezed up either.

You should try cleaning your registry.

Maybe there is dust clogging the fans, thus the need to speed up in order to cool down the cpu?

While you are knocking off the fans, you might as well clean in between the blades of your heat sink, I find they collect dust like magnets.
