| Windows 7, also noz isn't freeBSD a server distro? I always see it advertised for linux VPS's.

What are you talking about?
Exactly which version did you use that made you determine they're worst than ME?
Windows 95 has 3 versions
Win95A
Win95B
Win95C
Windows 98 has 2 versions
Win98
Win98SE
I've used Win95B and both Win98/SE
Win98 has trouble supporting USB, thus the release of Win98SE
WinME to me worked great, but it is one of MS's failures.
All OS have their pros and cons, but my favorite is Windows 2000
