My friend got a legit copy for £150. He got it though his school.

Well the school ordered it for him (They may have had to give proof, not sure) and he gave them the money.

You might as well give it a try, the worst that could happen is they reject the order.

Yes usually the educational versions are not fully functional versions. They may have some tools missing.

Don't know about Adobe, but I do know HP verifies if your a student or not as you need to create a account and that takes about a day or so to verify. Once it's complete it will send you a e-mail with a activation link.

When your in you get major student discount+ if you can find them codes that will be more discounts!
