my music is in my pictures folder, if I try to remove it from pictures it deletes from my music folder.[/list]

Its most likely because it has the images for the cover, try deleting the images.

I notice your Music folder shows "From 2 locations" and Pictures shows "From 4 locations", what are these other locations?

It also sounds like you have some path mapping issues.
