 Posted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 3:54 pm Post subject: Heres a few tips of advice if you consider getting a GD Visa |

1: You have to provide your social security number to apply
2: If you plan to only do online purchases, fuck VIP. Also, If you DO get VIP, it will continuously charge you every month until you cancel.
3: It cannot make outside US purchases. Alternatively, just add the money to paypal and pay for it that way.
4: If you are under 18, A parent is required to help you sign up via telephone and they will, I believe, also have to give their Social Security number, age, address, etc.
5: Don't bother using your new card when you get it. Its just a card with your name on it and everything, but however has a new number and is a fuckwit signing online.
6: Expect database crashes upon checking your balance and transaction online. |

Why would you not want them to know you're buying stuff online?
As long as its your money being put in the card whatever you do with your money shouldn't be a problem.
Alternatively, you can just buy a preloaded visa, which works exactly the same except without a reloadable feature, and your parents dont need to know |

Why would you not want them to know you're buying stuff online?
As long as its your money being put in the card whatever you do with your money shouldn't be a problem.

Well they don't really approve of video games, and my mom already told me no, I can't get Minecraft.

As I said, use a pre-loaded visa. Parents wont know that you did it. |

You don't need them to work on paypal. Ive easily bought microsoft points with a preloaded visa off XBL |

Western Union's Money Wise Cards (i like it because of no monthly fee as long as you use it like once a month or something like that) But it still does require SS ID and being in the age of majority

Prepaid visas Im pretty sure work on paypal. Ive gotten it to work before |
