| I'm using the alienware M11x, and I know there is an 800 dollar model out there, that model is a 160GB with 2GB DDR3 RAM, though. I chipped in a little more and went with the 4GB model which is only 70 bucks extra, but you can stick with 2GB. It runs smoothly, doesn't overheat, and can handle most current games on Med-High settings. Also, it's alienware, so you get the fun of customizable LEDs, which I play with a lot.

| Sorry to say, for $600-800 you wont get a "really good laptop". Really good laptops would cost 2x that amount.

unless you buy like used laptops like on ebay
but yeah what will it be used for
if its just something casual then 600-800 is possible but a gaming laptop is pretty much a no go

I would not recommend buying anything from BestBuy ever. I've bought my fair share of things from BestBuy in the past, and if something doesn't work, and I go to the store to return it, they'll say that I didn't buy it from them.

Do you have a receipt? I've never had a problem returning something.
Of course I've only returned SD Cards.
I buy 70% of my gear from NewEgg, the rest from TigerDirect. Have a friend that lives in that city, I send him the cash he sends me the part. It's usually $10 - $20 cheaper.

I did, they said that the receipt was invalid, and that they don't know where I got it from. As for the product, they said that it must have come directly from the manufacturer, as they don't package it like mine was.
Even though I know I bought it there.

Fry's is where it's at, bro. Best (and biggest) computer & hardware store I've been to, and they're not too strict on their return policy.
Also, they've got some awesome sales and things are generally pretty cheap there.
