I have been through the tutorial, but in honesty, I don't understand how it works rather, I'm only doing what the tutorials tell me.

Anyway, I'm trying to make a cheat table for this game I'm playing, and I've tried to make a godmode by attempting to attach the debugger and make the health address do nothing.

But when the health changes, the game crashes..

Does anyone know of any other methods, or am I doing it wrong?

Maybe the code that You have replaced with nops are changing other values too, not just the health.

If You try to hack a flash game, using this method can easily end up in a crash.

If You hack a normal game, right-click on the code and choose "Find out what addresses this code writes to". If it is accessing to other values too, You will have to try another method than using nop (eg. using code injection).

It is really depending on the game itself.

Oh...
Are You sure that the game is client sided regarding the health? Will You have unlimited health if You freeze the address of health?
