The Slim actually runs hotter because it hardly has any space for the air to cycle.

That's the case with everything that's made smaller (i.e. laptops). The only reason that might not be the case with the Xbox is because the 360 hueg already runs really hot due to poor design planning on Microsoft's fault.

GTA IV

COD 7 (when it is released)

You should get halo reach when it comes out.
Halo ODST would probably be better if you are mostly looking for PvP (Has all the multiplayer maps so you don't have to pay form them.
Borderlands is pretty fun (Especially if you play with your friends.

| The new model is quieter, but at the same time is a fingerprint magnet and gets pretty hot. Still, with a 250GB hard drive, built in wifi (instead of the 100 dollar add on) and more USB ports, it's definitely a good idea to buy one if you don't already have an xbox. If you do, it's not really worth spending the money to get the latest one.
