How do I cheat?

l can't minimize my game, if l can't minimize it l can't hack it with CE 5.6.1
it's called the wonderland adventures:fire island mysteries.

You can try these methods besides of ALT+TAB:
CTRL+ESC, Windows button on Your keyboard, ALT+CTRL+DELETE
If these are not working, You can also set a hotkey to popup/hide cheat engine.

Something I have found that also works. Open Explorer leave it open beneath your game.
I have found that games I can't ALT+TAB, will allow me to ALT+TAB when there is an Explorer window below the current window.

I guess it is because many games have links to websites in the game menu and Explorer is likely to be installed on a Windows system. Could You tell me a few games where this method has worked? I am planning to try out some older games where ALT+TAB and the usual methods did not work.

or just press alt left+alt right+tab..

Geri one I can think of off the top of my head is Battlefield Bad Company 2. On my system if that's the only thing running I can't minimize or get out of it without quitting the game. I think it also works on MW2.

Yeah it is pretty cool, I have set hotkeys for these useful options (along with the pause/unpause and debug->run option) because it makes life easier. I am planning to test this show/hide method on some older games because I see it is working a bit differently than a simple ALT+TAB.

I did not play Battlefield Bad Company 2 but I guess it is not an old game. I am planning to try out Your method on some really old games like Star Trek Armada 2 (1 million years old game) and on some other games from 2000-2001 where ALT+TAB was impossible or caused a crash. Most likely they did not implement this browser support stuff back then, but who knows.
It will not be useful for anyone just for me to play and hack my old favorites. I just love quality old games. They beat most of todays crappy mass products.
EDIT:
Did not work with old games. They just don't support it. Even if I can switch to other application, they crash. But I will keep trying on my old favorites. Maybe I will be lucky with some of them.
