Motherboard: Asus Rampage II Gene
CPU: Intel Core i7 920
Memory: 3 x 1GB DDR3 @ 1600Mhz, 3 x 2GB DDR3 @ 1600Mhz (one of the 2GB sticks is broken though)
Storage: 1 x SSD 96GB, 2 x HDD 1TB (two HDDs have been set up in RAID0)
Graphics: Asus ENGTX295 1792MB DDR3

Probably because the Intel Core i7 930 is cheaper, and has a higher clock rate. Buying a 920 would be silly at this point.
EDIT: Also, I have an OCZ Vertex as well! Those SSDs are awesome! The intel ones are apparently the cream of the crop right now though.

set the Voltage to 1.25V and 3.2 GHZ and fan speed to thermal
EDIT: If you fuck up remove the little battery to clear cmos.
