Alright, so right now im on my laptop. WHen i got home today from school, i opened my laptop and restarted it, and the screen wasnt really showing anything. Something could be scene when the Windows screen was loading, but other then that, the laptop screen wont show.
So.... i grabbed my old monitor and hooked it up to the laptop.
Before i have this laptop taken in, i want to know is there anyway to fix this problem?

When you hooked up the secondary monitor, were you able to see something? If so, the windows installation probably thinks the secondary monitor is still connected, even though it isn't. This can attributed to anything, but most likely it is because you fudged your plug-n-play setting in the BIOS (by disallowing the OS to seek for PnP compliant hardware).
You can fix this by connecting the secondary monitor, go to the screen settings, and set your laptop screen as the primary monitor again. Or, fix the PnP settings in the BIOS.
