But to answer the question straightforwardly, no I don't think we'll be visited anytime in the future.
There's too many factors involved to make that possible.
1) conditions suitable for life
you all know this.
2) space travel
When in outer space, the human (and aliens probably aren't that special) body deteriorates and atrophies. The moment it lands back on Earth, tons of astronauts have hard time adjusting.
3) differences between planets.
say the aliens are fine on their planet that's 3 times smaller than ours.
The moment they come here, the gravity alone will kill them. |

i believe in the existence of aliens. it's very possible. abiogenesis might be a very common occurrence in the universe.
as for us meeting the aliens, that might be something hard. there are just too many factors.

It is foolish to think that Earth is the only planet that is able to produce living organisms. I believe that there are, although we may not be aware of them, I do believe they exist. In fact, they may even exist in our universe, but our technology is not able to detect them or be able to see them. There are countless possibilities.
Briefly put, I believe they exist.

Life will mimic what we know.
They will most likely respirate. They will eat in some form. They will sleep.
They'll no doubt look different, but there are alot of things we know about where we came from.
Hands are more adept at using tools as opposed to claws or some crap. I don't think they will be like us, but I think there is alot that will be similar.

Yeah, kinda like the protoss from starcraft...
lul I actually wonder if its possible to have widely different alien races...
I mean the whole thought of them being similar is nice, but what about radically different?
It would kick ass for sure.

Depends on how the organism lives, they could be in space and still survive (assuming they have no technology or equipment with them).

Simply, Yes. It's 100% Certain that there most likely IS other life forms in this universe apart from us. Universe is forever expanding, new things being created every micro second, every half a micro second, every half of that and so on.
In terms, Yes I believe in them. Don't think they have visited this planet, but do exist out somewhere in the vast universe.
