And you are illiterate, exactly where in my post did I compare the two? More made a statement of my own experience with Acer, but I suppose if that's all you can get your parents to buy you... well you just make due.

You compared them by saying you wouldnt use a acer because an ancient model died or some garbage. Acer makes a good laptop, so stop crying.

If you bought 130 systems of any manufacturer and they all dropped off one by one just after warranty expired what more would you purchase from them?

my acer extensa 5620 cannot run CSS and I upgraded the ram from 1gb to 2gb. Not to mention I don't know the first thing about Hardware.. (Besides Xboxs, but I've been modding Xbox for awhile now).

featuring Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 with up to 358/3845 MB of Intel Dynamic Video Memory Technology 4.0 (8 MB of dedicated system memory, up to 350/3765 MB of shared system memory), supporting Microsoft DirectX 9
I just could not imagin why such a shitty video processor could not run css.

any real business buys service contracts from a 3rd party. You failed for that. Shit doesn't last forever.

What's your shared video ram currently set at? XP or Vista right click free space on your Desktop, select Properties or Personalize, select Display Settings, Advanced Settings. Should be listed as Adapter Information.

Will the game start? Does it give you an error message? Are you trying the latest drivers for your hardware?

A quick google of Intel GM965 and counter strike source, theres videos and howto for boosting fps in css on that chipset. So you should be able to run it.

You can check here to see if your system can run it.

systemrequirementslab(dot)com

Good luck.

If you are thinking of buying a new system the one that Hero posted will easily run most anything on a store shelf.

you're right it should. I played on a 945 express. Its probably dynamic memory though. Uses 8mb min and 256 max. I could only run GG maps on my netbook.

THEN WHY DID YOU CRY ABOUT IT? Either way, the laptop I posted is damn good for the price. A quad core and a 5650 for 800 is a damn good budget gaming laptop.

I dont play minecraft, but I'm pretty sure it can handle it. Do some fucking research. I can promise you won't find a better laptop for 800 dollars that isn't a scam. I just googled that error and its caused by your piece of shit not having its video drivers updated or not having the latest directx.

I have never had an issue with acer. Some models are bad. This one is decent and I have herd good feedback. Thats like me with toshiba. Under warrenty they replaced my laptop 10 times. Dead mobos everywhere. Honestly, this is the best you will find with gaming ability for 800.

Okay, I'll guess I'll give it a shot.

EDIT: What about this laptop? http://www.zol-ushop.com/goods.php?id=1687

I'm not sure if we came to the conclusion that that site was a scam, but feel free to try it out and tell us for sure.

dear friend, thank you for visit our website, we are happy to deal with you. at first we suggest you should buy some product for sale test.you may place an order and pay in your local bank, we accept bank transfer or western union

Code:
In principle bank transfers are very safe.
They are safest for the seller of course.
The draw back for the buyer is once the money is transferred you have to trust the seller to actually send you the item.
Unlike credit cards, paypal, ebay etc, there are no avenues to recover your money if something goes wrong. Once it's sent, it's sent.
I've successfully paid for things with wire transfer many times though, but I'm choosey about who I'm dealing with.

Code:
Western Union, it is safe in that the person receiving your money will get it. You do not have any recourse though if the person you are dealing with is a scammer.

It's funny because Intel's graphic Processor (Intel GMA x4500) sucks. It can run Garrysmod on medium settings though. It just depends what Intel Model you have. There's the Intel 3100 (I think it's named that). But overall Intel blows.

To the main subject; I would recommend getting a PC to be honest.

Or find a way to force a Computer motherboard into a case, then fuse the monitor with the case with a power supply, then plug it into the wall and go. A portable computer.
