I know 99% of you will be disapointments as usual, but I'm curious about those that truely know loss.
If you do, would you mind telling me about it? How you coped, if you coped at all? How you lost someone? Why you lost someone?

All of my male grandparents died of some form of cancer. A band, that I knew personally, died in a car crash. My disabled neighbor (my age) died not long ago. I had 8 cats, now I have 1 (and a kitten :3). Someone I knew at school was shot and killed in his car, another person was stabbed while trying to help someone that was getting mugged. Idk, I could go on, but there's a lot.
How do I cope with it? I just don't care anymore when people die... It bothers me for a few days but I get over it.
Now if you're talking about breaking up with your girlfriend or something, that's just a pussy thing to whine about.

There was a girl whom I had real feelings for before high school started. We were doing great and that was when well..
See the thing is I'm a relatively good looking guy ( inb4  ) and she felt insecure. So then she didn't really believe I liked her. I tried to get her to understand that I did but... I don't know, it didn't work. Eventually it just got bad between us and by the time school was over we barely talked.
One day I saw her in the subway talking with some other preppy girls (she wasn't preppy before, I wondered what the fuck happened) about sex and drugs and all kinds of weird shit. I didn't think it was her. (I didn't have my glasses so all I had to go on was her voice and general shape)
We got back in touch after that though (through the magic of facebook) and I found out that after she got into high school (she got into one of those really bad ones) she got into an abusive relationship. I tried to get her out of it but again, she just couldn't. I don't know, feelings are feelings. I mean by now she sounds like just some dumb bitch but I felt for her. Eventually she broke up with her boyfriend and I asked her out. Suddenly she just disappeared.
Eventually I found her again (she finally picked up the phone). Her dad had a stroke and was in a coma, which put her on a hiatus. She stopped going to school and talking to anyone. She explained to me a lot of the trauma that happened to her (which I won't say because well... i can talk about what I want, but it was private to her) and I couldn't go "oh btw I still like you". I just tried to support her as much as I could.
And then she got another dumbass abusive boyfriend (we were in different high schools, and boroughs by then, so I couldn't exactly intervene) and got into drugs and alcohol (not like oh lets drink at a party and smoke some weed but into some serious shit)
And then she just stopped doing everything. i don't know what's up with her anymore and I don't care.
(this btw happened a looong time ago.)
Idk if this is the kind of loss you're talking about but I tried. My life is too lucky I guess.

Any type of loss. I'm looking into how most people carry different types of loss.
A bit of a comparative evaluation of my own methods.
I'm interested in how much my choices have influenced my life, and seeing different ways of how I could've done it makes it easier to interpret.

Not really. Just decided that being a hatebot wasn't going to work as well as I thought. Worked a few years, but it's time for a change.
So I'm reevaluating a lot of aspects and choices.

Haven't noticed much difference. I might be a hatebot, but people appreciated the honesty I showed.
I called them incompetent, but I also supported their good decisions.
