Still writing poetry, I see.
Overall poem could be referring to a lost love, who you were seperated from after something about her changed.

Nah. I just like the song quite a lot. It's from the series Kyle XY, in which Jamie Alexander and Matt Dallas starred as Jessie XX and Kyle XY.
Matt was also in both the clips of the other two songs I mentioned.
The song is about a picture they find of their "parents" so to speak.
Being genetic matches, the picture looks exactly like them.
