What's the difference between Kotachi and Hitotach?

Cannot find out. They both seem to mean something like "Many" or "Multiple"

Same with "Onna" and "Kanojo" both seem to mean female, and "Otoko" and "Kare wa" Both seem to mean man.

I could be completely wrong with the translations though.

Google translate fails me.

1. Google Translate is bad, never ever use an online translator to write something, only read.
2. There are formal and informal forms of everything, depending on who you're talking to.

Yeah Cryoma, that's what I want to know. If they both mean the same thing, what should the different situation be?

I think Kare wa / Kanojo seems to be more formal, while Otoko/Onna seem to be friendly.

Edit: Just did a bit of research. It would appear otoko would translate to Man, and kare wa would translate to He.

Hitotach is slang multiple people, kotachi is slang for children.

Think of it this way, hito means person, and onna no hito means person belonging to female gender, so onna no hito (女の人) is formal enough.
Kanojo is informal, it's third person and usually meant as a close friend or girlfriend.

I'll be sure to write that down too ;D

Got around 5 years before I need to fluently speak/read Japanese, trying to learn it without being Wapanese and using broken-translations though.

Learn Japanese, get a teaching degree, move to Japan to be an English teacher (ELT or w/e it is)

If any of you guys have any more knowledge to share, feel free to post it. I'll look at this thread again in around 8 hours, I'm going out now.

Oh right on, Japan and Korea are both in somewhat high demand for english teachers.
I know someone who gets paid to babysit some little kids in Korea, just so they pick up english around him.
He doesn't know a work of Korean either.
